Manchester United Ready To Present Inter With Zlatan Ibrahimovic Bid – Report
The Red Devils are ready to swoop for the striker, according to British reports...

'Ibra', who finished last season as Serie A's top goal scorer, has been surrounded by rumours claiming he will be leaving. The report from the British tabloid claims United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to make a bid of around €35 million for the Swede.
Despite reports in England, Inter director Lele Oriali claimed on Tuesday that the striker will be staying with the Nerazzurri. Inter have regularly underlined their intention to keep Ibrahimovic, managing to keep Barcelona at bay last month, despite reports of a mega offer.
Furthermore, coach Jose Mourinho recently suggested that no player will be sold once pre-season begins, which will be tomorrow morning for Inter.
If reports in England are to be believed, Ferguson would have to offer the Nerazzurri a mega payment within the next 24 hours in order to beat Mourinho's transfer deadline. Over the last few weeks, reports in Italy regarding the striker's future have become less frequent, suggesting he is likely to remain.
Manchester United To Offer €20m Plus Dimitar Berbatov For Aguero - Spanish Press
The Red Devils have reportedly come up with a few interesting proposals to Atletico for ‘El Kun’…

Manchester United have continued their relentless assault to lure Sergio Aguero from Atletico
Following rumours of a failed €46 million bid last week, the Premier League champions are now ready to take a different approach to whet Atleti’s appetite.
According to AS, the Red Devils are now considering including player exchanges to sweeten the deal, and their preferred option is believed to be a payment of €40 million plus Portuguese winger Nani. But Los Colchoneros have no interest in signing a wide player as they already have that department well covered.
The second option is said to be a fee of €20m plus striker Dimitar Berbatov, who supposedly fancies a move to the Vicente Calderon. This would bring the total transfer figure to roughly €56 million, based on the Bulgarian’s €36m move to Old Trafford just last summer.
However, that is still unlikely to convince the Atletico directors, who have repeatedly insisted that only an offer that matches Aguero’s buy-out clause of €60 million will be enough to kick-off negotiations.
Even if a transfer is accepted, AS speculates that United could face another obstacle as they will have to meet the Argentine hot-shot’s sky high wage demands, believed to be around €12.5m-per-year.
Manchester United Leading Race For Real Madrid's Huntelaar
With Milan apparently no longer interested, the stage is set for the Red Devils to capture 'The Hunter'...

Huntelaar has fallen well down the pecking order at Madrid in the midst of their summer spending, a fact that has not gone unnoticed around Europe.
According to The Sun, Man United are now ready to swoop, with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani having recently declared his preference for Fabiano.
Huntelaar has scored eight times during his 20 appearances at the Bernabeu, and is keen to sort his future out as soon as possible.
It is thought that United would have to pay in excess of the €23 million that Madrid payed for Huntelaar to land the Dutch striker from Ajax in Janaury.

Transfer Rumours: Arrivals

After the £80m sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, the press are keen to stress that the Reds have money to burn, hence an ever-increasing list of players linked with big-money moves to Manchester.
The latest name on the grapevine is Inter's not-so-Swedish-sounding striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, priced at £30m. United are also apparently scouring Brazil, with Luis Fabiano, Nilmar and Douglas Costa mentioned.
It's all gone quiet on former supposed targets, Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery, Lyon's Karim Benzema (now with moneybags Madrid), Barcelona front man Samuel Eto’o, and Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero. But after the unexpected arrival of Michael Owen, who knows what the rest of the summer has in store?
Reds sign French starlet

Sir Alex Ferguson has made Bordeaux's Gabriel Obertan United's third signing of the summer, after the promising young Frenchman signed a four-year deal at Old Trafford.
The 20-year-old's contract keeps him at Old Trafford until at least June 2013, and Sir Alex revealed Obertan, who can play in a variety of attacking positions, is a player whose progress he has followed for some time.
"Gabriel is a player we have tracked for a few years now, but because of his educational programme our efforts to get him here have always been delayed," the Reds boss toldManUtd.com.
"We are delighted to get him now as he is an exciting prospect. We like to get young players and develop them, and we will see that in Gabriel over the next two years."
Gabriel admits he jumped at the chance to join the Barclays Premier League champions.
“I am very happy to join Manchester United," he told us. "This is a big opportunity for me to play at such a great club. I am very excited to be here and I look forward to proving what I can do."
However, the club has confirmed that due to a slight injury which needs attention, Gabriel will not travel on the pre-season tour.

The players have been back in training this week, and on Friday our official photographer headed down to Carrington to capture the first shots of Michael Owen in training with his new team-mates.
Owen, who signed for the Reds this month on a free transfer, looks to have settled in at United already - of course, he already knows many of his new team-mates from the England set-up.
The Reds are now in full preparation mode for the 2009/10 campaign, and the squad are getting ready to fly out on the pre-season tour of Asia late next week.
But while there's plenty of hard work being done to build fitness ahead of United's Barclays Premier League title defence and another European assault, there's still time to have some fun, as our exclusive pictures show.
